Carboxy Methyl Cellulose CMC

Product Introduction:

Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, taking the natural cellulose as the raw material, is a high-purity and refined cellulose ether. CMC has a white powder appearance, after dissolving, with high light transmittance, it has a better rheologic and thixotropic performance. The main chemical reaction is the alkalization between cellulose and alkali producing alkali cellulose and the etherification between alkali cellulose and chloroacetic acid.

Product Applications: 

1. For construction, CMC can increase the water retention and strength

2. For Petroleum, Natural Gas, the drilling, well digging, other projects

3. For Textile, Printing and Dyeing, CMC can be used as the sizing agent, for Cotton, Silk, Chemical Fiber, Mixed Fabric, as the light sizing agent

4. When adding CMC to synthetic detergent, it can be used as Dirt Absorbent; for daily chemicals such as: tooth paste industry, CMC’s can be used as aqueous Glycerol solution as the tooth paste’s gel base; for the pharmaceutical industry, CMC can be used as thickener and emulsifying agent; after viscosity increase, CMC water solution can used as floating mining.

5. For Ceramic industry, CMC can be used as the blank adhesive, plasticizer, glaze’s suspending agent and fixing agent, etc.

6. For Paper Making industry, CMC can be used as paper smoothing agent, sizing agent. Adding 0.1%~0.3% CMC to water pulp, it can intensify the paper’s tensile by 40%~50%, anti-crack ability by 50% and flexibility by 4~5 times bigger

Product Storage and Transportation:
CMC should be stored in a clean, dry, ventilated place and keep away from moisture, fire, high temperature conditions. When CMC is transported, preventing it from rain, and hook is prohibited for using when loading it. This product due to long time storage and the piling, caking might happen when unpacking. It may cause inconvenience but won't affect quality within the warranty time.　
This product should prohibit from touching any water when stored, otherwise gelling and part dissolving might happen and cause it can not be used normally.

Bag: Net Weight 20kg/bag（double package: polyethylene film inner-bag enclosed by composite paper-plastic outer bag). Alternatively, we can pack the CMC as per the customer's specific requirements.
